About Sharon
Every body tells a story. This is mine.
Author, educator, speaker and creator of The Cusack Method™ — with more than 40 years in holistic health and wellness, and a personal journey through pain and recovery.

The chapters that shaped my work
The youngest of eight
Growing up with six older brothers taught me resilience early, and, much later, how disconnected I had become from myself.
A ruptured appendix at 13
I suffered silently for four days before collapsing, and nearly died. As I recovered, I became fascinated with how the body works, adapts and regenerates.
Health struggles in my twenties
After years of antibiotics I developed severe hypoglycemia. A naturopathic doctor guided me to a yeast-free diet and organic food, in 1988, long before it was mainstream, and I recovered. It showed me what the body can do with the right support.
A spinal injury at 40
Within three weeks I lost my relationship and my job. Then, on Valentine's Day 2003, a car accident left me bedridden for months and unable to walk properly for nearly five years. Acupuncture, herbs and tui na from a doctor of Chinese medicine helped me walk again, and taught me firsthand how scar tissue binds, calcifies and restricts the body.
Breast implant removal in 2022
I chose implants at 33. In July 2022, after 25 years, I had them removed. It became one of the best decisions of my life, and reconnected me with my body.
Loss, setbacks — and moving forward
Gave me deep compassion for anyone who feels unheard.
Every body tells a story. Every story deserves a personalized path forward.
